Ready-made and custom frames are available in many styles and prices from Frame Station and Gallery in South Pasadena, Florida. Our picture framing services are just the thing you are looking for to preserve and display your precious family keepsakes. Ask us about having a custom mirror created for your home.
Letting us create your custom frames allows you to preserve your art and memories longer. We have the ability to create custom frames up to 10 ft by 10 ft. Acid-free mats and backings are used to preserve your art and memories longer.
WHY DO WE NEED CUSTOM FRAMING?
Many times a piece of art is a size that won’t fit comfortably into a standard size frame. Or the piece requires more than a basic frame to look good. It is our job to design your art with the perfect mat combination and frame to best accent the artwork and its surroundings. Often the customer wants the art to be designed for the arts sake. This way it can be displayed in any room and look good on its own merits. We offer guidance but, of course, you make the final choices.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We can frame a 24 x 36 poster for as little as $99.50. We also have a wall of readymade frames ( which we custom build ) priced at less than half the cost of custom. Prices are determined by the size of the finished piece and the materials used. We’ve lasted here for 33 years by offering the best service and prices around. Better than the box stores that give the discounts on inflated prices. Bottom line, we beat them all. And always the best quality and workmanship.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
If we have the materials in stock we can do rush orders the same day. We can put your photos or prints into readymade frames while you wait. Our normal turnaround is a week. We always call the minute it’s ready.
WHAT’S IN YOUR GALLERY?
We have walls of beautifully designed artwork, some discounted. All are done with conservation glass and museum grade mats. They will last for years and show no ageing. We also have framed mirrors. Our art bins show more Florida art than other styles but there is everything from Claude Monet to Neil Adamson. Robert Kline gives us Mermaids, Fairies and Lighthouses.
WHAT ARE MY GLASS CHOICES?
All of our glass is supplied by the True Vue Glass Co. They are the leader in quality picture framing glass. Choices range from “Clear Premium” to “Museum Glass” which has almost no reflection and amazing clarity. There are displays in the store to help you choose.
WILL YOU DELIVER AND HANG MY NEWLY FRAMED ARTWORK?
Of course we will! I like to see where my designs are being displayed. So for a fee we can deliver within a limited area and hang the artwork for you.
WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH MY OLD ARTWORK?
We can re-frame and re-mat your old and aging artwork with amazing results. We can also undertake restorative touch ups that will hide tears and blemishes. Often, a good cleanout and new mats make all the difference. I’ve seen junk become a museum piece. We repair broken glass and change out glass for UV protection almost every day. Our Florida sun is very bad for art. Even reflected sunlight will fade unprotected artwork and mats.
REMEMBER, IF IT’S DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, THERE WON’T BE A SECOND TIME.
The prices we offer on ready-made frames are competitive with even the big box stores. Unlike the big box stores, you can ask questions of our expert framers to help you show off your masterpieces.
